Wai the Whale!

Wai the Whale came to our school to teach about water safety. She is a big killer whale and she taught about swimming with an adult and swimming between the flags when we are at the beach.

Rylan's Writing

Today Rylan wrote a sentence all by himself! He sounded out the letters he could hear in the words and wrote them outside with chalk. He wrote I like dinosaurs. He was very proud of his sentence and so he should be! Ka pai Rylan what an awesome sentence!

Today we put the letters of our name in the right order. We also counted how many letter we have in our names.

Literacy in Room 1

For literacy today we read the book party hats. It is about different colour hats. Look we made our own paper hats and used lots of colours to decorate them.
